Our latest time out from work was last weekend, where we were in Leicester at Stretton 2000 Karting circuit.  After our short briefing team SBg and sister company team Storm took to the track

After a very eventful warm up lap on a somewhat wet track, Neil took Pole Position for the start of the rain.  However, he didn’t stay in the lead for too long due to, er ‘Brake failure’, we are sure it was just basic mechanical failure and not the result of any ‘race tampering’ from another work colleague!!!  But please rest easy, Neil did continue the race in a spare kart.

Fastest section of the track was also the wettest!!!

Last section of the circuit was also the wettest part, not to mention the fastest part as well! Only a few brave / crazy people had the nerve not to lift off the power on this part of the track. Slick tires in the rain equal interesting levels of success in the corners.

By the mid way section we were ALMOST confident in power sliding into the corners!!!
