By using appliances from Expand's Accelerator 6800 Series, companies don't have to invest thousands of pounds a month in additional OC-3 links to upgrade WAN performance. These devices enable OC-3 throughput and more, the company claims.

In addition, a single Accelerator 6800 can support hundreds of remote sites, making it perfect for high-speed data centers where multiple links are managed. The Accelerator 6800 Series, with a copper Gigabit Ethernet interface, is scheduled for release within the next few months.
