Salmon & You >>about us

Have you thought about saving money using remanufactured cartridges? You can save as much as 40% and can expect at least savings of 20%.

As well as saving money on the purchase you can earn money on the recycling. 90% of cartridges are thrown away, creating a great burden on the landfill sites.

There is no downside to recycled cartridges, they save money, they preserve the environment and they are as good as the originals.

We have tried them before several times, and they are all rubbish!!!

Complaint Salmons' Answer
Leak toner into printer. Careful inspection of raw material, all original seals replaced. Tested for leakage prior to assembly.
Print quality not good. Only use the best quality toner and drum combination. Every cartridge is print tested and compared to original.
Did not last as long. All cartridges are filled using the same fill levels as the oem, in some cartridges we use a higher fill than the oem.
Generally not as good as the original. All cartridges re-manufactured to work instructions prepared and maintained to the standards laid down by BS:EN:ISO 9002 and BS:EN:ISO14001.

My maintenance company say I cannot use them
The complaints are similar to the above, except these are the reasons maintenance companies give for preventing a company using re-manufactured. Remember a maintenance contract is insurance against a printer going wrong. Anything that in the opinion of the insurer is likely to increase the claims is likely to be disapproved of. Ask if you can speak to the maintenance company or get them to speak to us.

It invalidates my HP Warranty
Simply NO IT DOES NOT.........H.P. say in most of there user manuals that the use of non H.P. toner cartridges does not invalidate any warranty.

Not a big enough cost saving to change from original product
Savings should be about 30%. If the buyer will not listen talk to the M.D., he will be interested in saving money.

I already use re-manufactured cartridges and I am happy with my supplier
The most difficult of objections. Try to establish if they have any problems with the product or service they receive. Try to find out what they pay and what specification the cartridges are. You will need to use the reasons for buying from you as much as the reasons for buying re-manufactured cartridges. Remember difficult accounts to get are difficult accounts to lose.
